Cate & Stuart got married on a Monday in October which was a first for us a normally weddings on a Monday fall on a Bank Holidays. The heavy flooding a couple of weeks before the wedding had us worried about the Church as it’s right next to the river at Tadcaster but it was all back in order for the wedding (with the exception of the heating) and the plans for the day remained the same.
After the ceremony we all climbed up into the bell tower as Cate & Stuart are bell ringers at the church, the steps are a little tight but I managed to get there with all my gear (and limbs) intact. After a short spell of ringing we headed off to the lovely Monk Fryston Hall for afternoon tea and some time with our lovely couple. Cate & Stuart were great and didn’t let the advancing weather front spoil the day or stop us from creating some great shots around the grounds and I’m sure they soon warmed up next to the fire once we got back to the stunning dining room.
