Lorna & Rob live in Australia and got married at the fabulous (foodie heaven) Crown Inn in Roecliffe near Boroughbridge on December 28th.
Having left a mild 40 degrees in Aus to arrive here with our glorious sub zero temperatures we were all more than happy that it had warmed up a bit for their wedding day and more surprisingly the rain had stopped!
Thankfully they were game for having a stroll through the village so we could use what was left of the available light before heading in to the warm cosy pub whilst I took a few moody (the images not me) venue shots. Whilst I was running about on the village green one of the locals was returning from walking their dogs who thought I was doing one of those Police training excercises and promptly ran after me barking and trying to take me down, good job they were only playing!
Highlights from the day included vintage tea cups filled with mulled wine, designated carvers on each table for the roast dinner, a cheese cake and individual treacle tarts for dessert.
Thanks to Carl and the staff for feeding us on the day!
Message from Lorna and Rob – The pics look great. We’re really pleased and think you’ve done a brilliant job with the light/weather/space issues we had!
