Jennifer & David – Goldsborough Hall Winter Wedding Photography
As the weather now seems to have dragged it’s way out of winter I feel I can now post the amazing (if not slightly chilly) images from Jen & David’s wedding at the beautiful Goldsborough Hall in March.
Jen & David booked March 23rd based on the same date in 2012 which was a hot sunny day, a bit of a contrast to this years weather. The forecast was unfortunately spot on and I was in constant contact with Jen on the run up to the weekend re-assuring her that even if the weather forecast was right everything would run smoothly, we’d be there, Event Music would be there, Goldsborough would run as normal and everyone would have a fantastic day, which they did!
On the day we popped over to Goldsborough en-route to Jen (who was getting ready at Rudding Park) so we could give her an update on conditions in the village and put her mind at ease. When we arrived preparations were in full swing and everyone seemed in good spirits, awesome!
Other than being a bit slippy and not being able to feel my fingers at one point everything ran smoothly, we even managed to blast through the group shots on the steps outside so we could shoot them with the best light and correct lenses. Jen & David were up for a few minutes outside utilising the amazing landscapes and views of the hall and we worked quickly to achieve a number of different shots so they could get back inside and warm up.
The rest of the day went to plan (I knew it would) and we left just after the first dance as Chris Hiltons Little Big Band kicked the evening entertainment off with a full dance floor.
Here’s a selection of images, anyone remember winter?
