Simonstone Hall Wedding Photography – Marie & Stephen
In June we were back at Simonstone Hall near Hawes to photograph the wedding of Marie & Stephen. We absolutely love the drive up through Wensleydale to Simonstone Hall it must be one of the most beautiful parts of the Yorkshire Dales.
The view from the front of Simonston Hall over Swaledale and Hawes is simply stunning and makes for a great place for your reception drinks.
Marie wore a Maggie Sottero dress from Hoops A Daisy in Wakefield with shoes by Rainbow Club. The bridesmaids dresses were by Alfred Angelo which she bought from Confetti & Lace in Pudsey, Leeds.
Stephen and his best man had their suits tailor made by Carl Stuart of Ossett with the other suits, waistcoats and ties all hired from Carl Stuart.
Following the tradition of something old, something new etc. Marie had a blue garter, a tiara from one of her best friends and had the sixpence taped to the inside of one of her shoes and on the day Marie opened a gift from Stephen to find some lovely jewellery to complete the look.
For hair and make-up Marie enlisted the talented Rebecca Evemy and Victoria Lees respectively.
Bouquets, button holes and table decorations were supplied by Lamberts florists in Leyburn with the intricate looking cake by Dales Cake Craft.
The cool stationery was designed by one of the grooms close friends (and usher) Dorin Botez and seemed to match perfectly with the colour scheme on the day.
Notable tunes of the day were;
Processional: “Glasgow Love Theme” by Craig Armstrong
Signing Register: “Shining Path” by Corner Stone Cues & “Maestro” by Hans Zimmer
Recessional: “All Dressed in Love” by Jennifer Hudson
With the First Dance: “Rule The World” by Take That
The evening entertainment was provided by Sunshine Daze who you could just tell were going to be awesome before they’d even finished setting up – you can just tell what some bands are going to sound like before they’ve even picked up an instrument.
We left the party for the drive home as the party got into full swing after what was a great day with great people and a stunning setting.
