Back in June we did the wedding photography for Mark & Nicola’s wedding at the beautiful art deco venue Sun Pavillion in Harrogate.
We had the amazing Hannah Trigwell performing during the ceremony and reception, she has such a stunning voice and we wish her all the best of luck with her brand new EP ‘Not Enough’, which is out now on itunes! http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/not-enough-ep/id452821524
So I’m just sitting in front of the computer with a pile of work to do when 6 Music news comes on at 12:30. On the news report they mention that The Red Arrows are performing their first display since the tragic accident a couple of weeks ago that saw the loss of one of their team.
OK, so it’s Friday, I’ve spent all week working my butt off and I’m thinking, oooh Linton on Ouse is only 20 minutes away if I get moving fast, anyway, needless to say I haven’t done much work since 12:30 and here’s the results.
If you ever get chance to see these guys doing their stuff it’s well worth seeing and I totally support their continued funding because they rock!
We covered Rachel & Andrews wedding the other week at The Star Inn and they specifically asked if we could take some shots of the food, thankfully as it’s summer the light was ideal which meant the shots worked well. It’s always a bit stressful taking food shots when it’s flying off the pass into the dining room as you don’t want to hold up service and become a pain in the bum to the staff, so it’s fast work with minimal fuss but I think they look pretty good. We love working at The Star Inn, it’s such a fab venue with ace food, great staff and loads for us to work with as photographers. I’ll blog about the wedding when I catch up with weddings but as I’ve just sent a disc off to the immensley talented Andrew Pern (who recently appeared on The Great British Menu winning a regional heat) and as I found myself salivating at the shots I thought I’d post them here – hope you’ve already eaten cos this will kill you if you’re hungry!
