Just listening to Rumours by Fleetwood Mac which we often play and thought this would be a lovely tune to walk in to.
We’ve heard loads of different tunes played for the entrance of the bride and I just thought I’ll start posting them up here!
Ladies and Gentlemen I have now created a ‘Tunes to walk in to’ Category – how exciting!
I think I need another coffee
EDIT – Just in case you’re having a Church wedding, don’t get your hopes up for Fleetwood Mac as you walk in, I think this is strictly Civil Ceremonies or maybe if your luck’s in a blessing
Chris Hilton of The Event Music Company kindly invited us to his showcase evening back in July at Rudding Park in Harrogate.
The music was absolutely outstanding and was enjoyed by all, here are a few images from the night!
Other members of the Yorkshire Wedding Collective who were also present included, Where Angels Play the Florist, Simply Seat Covers and Quilling Magic Stationery.
I just saw this presentation from DICE 2010, “Design Outside the Box” if you’re into Facebook, Farmville, Guitar Hero, Wii etc etc this is quite possibly the best presentation you’ll watch this year, stick with it, at first it looks like it’s just about the web and games etc but it really is a look into the possibility of the Future!
I was invited over by a good friend of mine to shoot some BMXing on Sunday 7th March. It was good to catch up and met up with a couple of faces from the past, another friend was racing in the ‘old school’ class – hmmmm, maybe one day!
Shame I couldn’t stay all day but I had to get to the Blues Bar in Harrogate to see another friend who was playing later that afternoon.
We’ve had a number of weddings featured in national magazines (which is fantastic) and when Woman’s Own contacted us last year wanting to feature Jessica & Davids superb wedding at The Star Inn, Harome, we were really happy to submit our images.
So, if you’re in the newsagents and are looking for something to read, pick up a copy and see our famous couple on page 26!
Some of you reading this will know I love motorsport, I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot any for ages, in fact the last time I arrived at a Rally HQ to collect my media pack was over 4 years ago
Anyway, a friend of mine pointed out the Boston website with the link to these great images from this years Dakar Rally – enjoy!

So we’re working hard updating the blog and catching up on stuff we should have done before Christmas but it was a bit manic right up to the point the in-laws arrived for Christmas Dinner. Anyway, through the coming days and weeks there’ll be plenty to look at and read on here as we find ourselves up to the eyes in snow, in what has to be one of our harshest winters for as long as I can remember. Tuesday morning we awoke to find the deepest snow this week, and we took a stroll into Knaresborough, to be honest we set off with the intention of going sledging (if we could find one for sale anywhere) but gave up and took some photos instead.
So, here’s the results of a quick walk down Waterside before we got too cold.
I know this first video of Corey Martinez is a few years old now, but it’s such an amazing bit of film work and put to a lovely soundtrack that I just wanted to post it, so there. The second video of Mark Love is also very, very cool.
Not like the one on my index finger at the moment, but real scalpel to paper art. A friend of ours is extremely talented and is producing these cool ‘one off’ pieces.
As they’re hand made you can have whatever text you like and they can be framed up with different coloured backgrounds etc. We thought they’d be great as wedding gifts or as a momento of your day, maybe as stationery and I believe she’s just made one that says ‘Will You Marry Me’ for a proposal!
